Paddle Board Rentals

Looking to give paddle boarding a try on Missouri’s gorgeous Lake of the Ozarks? Stop in our shop or call to rent paddle boards from Wake Effects.

With a rental we supply everything you could possibly need except for the self-propulsion. Missouri boating laws do not require a paddle board “captain” to wear a life jacket however we do recommend that you take and/or wear a life jacket on your journey. With that being said, high quality neoprene type III life jackets are available for a small fee.

Whether you’re an avid paddle boarder, first timer, or trying to plan a family event we’ll get you all set up and have the boards waiting for you in the water upon your arrival. We’ll even give you a little instructional on  paddle board basics before we send you on your way. Give us a shout, show us pricing and we’ll match, beat and accept any prices or coupons for the Lake of the Ozarks area.

Total Bliss

Lake Yoga & Paddle Board Bliss Beginning Class

This beginner class will ease you into paddle boarding and SUP yoga. We start with a lesson on the docks followed by a serene paddle around the cove. Connecting with your board we then move into tranquil yoga postures aimed at connecting your body with your breath while at the same time connecting with nature.  There will be time for experimenting and of course everyone’s favorite…savasana, final relaxation on the board, on the water. An awesome way to spend a morning on the Lake! This class is 90 minutes.

Please bring what ever will make you comfortable: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, towel, change of clothing (not that you will need it) & a smile!

Frequently Asked Questions

I have never practiced yoga and or paddle boarding, will I be able to do it?
Absolutely! We get people that are new to both yoga and paddling and they end up loving it. Our classes start out with a lesson, so you will learn everything you need to know before heading out. It’s not competitive, it’s more about connecting with your breath and the serene environment.

What if it’s windy or rainy?
If it’s not going to be fun, we will not go out. We want you to have a great time, so in case of class cancellation, we will contact you to arrange the rain check.

How do I pay and register?
