The 2026 Radar Womens Session Slalom Ski is a women’s-specific ski that makes deep water starts a breeze. It is balanced and stable when you’re cruising, and can progressively roll on edge for continuous turns all the way down the lake. Designed to ride between 20 and 30 MPH in the open water, the Women’s Session helps bridge the gap between first-timer and confident ripper.

Our Open Water Series has three goals in mind: 1 - Quickly and easily plane to the surface. 2 - Very low drag. You can’t make it to the far end of the lake, or the length of the river if you run out of steam. 3 - It needs to still rip lake a slalom ski should. At Radar, we only design slalom skis that act like slalom skis. With the Open Water Series we took the mission to heart, adding more surface area than any other series in our line, cracking the traditional design code in the process. With the addition of Grip Rails and a flat spine, you have a ski that easily finds and maintains an edge despite its increased width. The barrier to entry into the slalom world just got lowered. Let it rip.

Grip Rails 2.0

Wider skis are easier to get up on, granted, but they are traditionally more difficult to roll onto and maintain an edge. We address this potential performance issue through our next evolution grip rails. Essentially creating a pseudo-tunnel, the angled rails force waterflow to the center of the ski allowing the ski to roll, grip and hold an edge through the wakes. Merging unparallelled ease-of-use with uncompromising performance, the Session stands alone in the wide-ski market.
